3. How we use information and our lawful bases
We use personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including:
To respond to enquiries and provide quotations, products and services (steps taken at your request and performance of a contract).
To process orders, arrange delivery, handle returns and warranty requests, and communicate about purchases (performance of a contract).

4. Payments and payment providers
Our intended online card payment provider is Stripe. If Stripe is connected and selected at checkout, payment information is processed by Stripe under its own privacy terms. We receive information needed to confirm and manage the order, such as payment status and transaction references; we do not intend to store your full card number or security code.
Payment-provider availability can change. If a different provider is presented at checkout, that provider will process the payment under its own terms and privacy notice. Please check the payment option shown before completing an order.
Stripe privacy information: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. Squarespace may also process information to operate the website and checkout. See https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.
5. Website hosting, forms and service providers
The website is hosted and managed through Squarespace. Information submitted through website forms, including contact and custom-build enquiries, may be processed by Squarespace so that the form can be delivered to us. We may also use email, delivery, payment, IT, security, accounting and other service providers where necessary to run the business. We only share information that is reasonably needed for the relevant service, and providers may process it under their own privacy terms.
We do not currently describe any separate advertising or remarketing service in this policy. If we add new integrations that materially change how personal information or cookies are used, we will review and update this policy.
6. Cookies and website analytics
The website uses essential cookies and similar technologies needed for core website functions, security and, where applicable, shopping-basket and checkout functions. Squarespace and connected services may also use other technologies for analytics or additional features.
Our current Squarespace settings display a cookie banner, offer visitors Accept all, Decline all and Manage cookies choices, and keep non-essential cookies restricted unless the visitor gives the relevant consent. Visitors can change their choices through the cookie preferences control when available.
The Squarespace Activity log setting is enabled to include activity-log data in Analytics. This can involve technical or usage information, potentially including IP address or other visitor data. Restricting non-essential cookies can limit some analytics and means traffic reports, visitor counts, attribution or conversion information may be incomplete or less accurate. The cookie banner does not necessarily control every cookie or technology used by every third-party service.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may affect some website functions. For details about Squarespace cookies, see https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001264507-The-cookies-Squarespace-uses.
7. Who we share information with
We may share information with service providers who help us operate the website, take payments, deliver orders, communicate with customers, protect the site, or meet legal and accounting requirements. We may also disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
8. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant provider or us will rely on an applicable legal transfer mechanism and safeguards.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including responding to enquiries, fulfilling orders, managing warranties and returns, resolving disputes, maintaining security and meeting legal, tax and accounting requirements. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and the reason for keeping it.
10. Keeping information secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your data-protection rights
Under applicable UK data-protection law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, or data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
To exercise a right, email info@dragongamingsystems.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
12. Children
This website is intended for people seeking computer products and services. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children for marketing purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information unnecessarily, contact us so we can review the request.
13. Links to other websites
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their privacy notices when you visit them.
