Frequently Asked Questions

About our PCs

Are your PCs built to order?

Our systems are assembled and configured to the specification shown on the relevant product page. Build and testing times can vary depending on the system and component availability. Any current estimate should be checked on the product page or confirmed with us before ordering.

What is the difference between a gaming PC, office PC and workstation?

Gaming PCs are configured primarily for gaming and general use. Office PCs are designed for everyday tasks such as browsing, documents, video calls and business applications. Workstations are configured for more demanding professional workloads. The right system depends on the software you use and the performance you need.

Can I ask for a custom-built PC?

Yes. Use our Request a Custom PC page to tell us what you need, your budget, preferred components, colour or style, software requirements and any other important details. We can then review the requirements and provide a quotation.

Can I choose the colour or components?

Options depend on the system and component availability. Please check the options shown on the product listing. For a custom system, tell us your preferences when requesting a quotation. We will confirm the agreed specification before proceeding.

Can you change a component if it is out of stock?

If a component becomes unavailable, we will contact you before making a material substitution. We will discuss an appropriate alternative with you and confirm any price or specification changes before proceeding.

Ordering and payment

How do I place an order?

Choose the system you want, review its specification and options, and follow the website checkout. Check your delivery details, total price and order information carefully before submitting the order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods available are displayed at checkout. If you have a question about a payment method before ordering, contact us at info@dragongamingsystems.co.uk. Please update this answer if the payment options on the live checkout change.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Whether a change can be made depends on the order stage and the circumstances. Consumer cancellation rights may apply to online purchases, although some genuinely personalised or customer-specification goods may be exempt where the legal requirements are met. See our Terms & Conditions and Delivery & Refunds policy.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

You should follow the confirmation information provided by the website after checkout and check the email address used for your order, including junk or spam folders. If you cannot find confirmation or are unsure whether an order was placed, contact us before placing a duplicate order.

Build times and delivery

How long will my PC take to arrive?

Build and delivery times depend on the system, component availability, testing and the delivery service. Check the estimate shown on the product page or confirmed with your quotation. Any estimate should not be treated as a guaranteed date unless we have expressly agreed that.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Delivery availability and charges depend on the product and delivery address. The options and costs available for your order should be shown at checkout or confirmed before a custom order is accepted.

Can I collect my order?

Collection may be possible by prior arrangement. Please contact us and wait for confirmation before travelling to collect an order.

What should I do if my PC arrives damaged?

Keep the packaging, take photographs of any visible damage where possible, and contact us promptly at info@dragongamingsystems.co.uk with your order number and details. Please do not discard packaging until the issue has been discussed with us.

Warranty, returns and support

Do your PCs come with a warranty?

Dragon Gaming Systems offers a 12-month return-to-base warranty covering qualifying faults arising from the assembly, configuration or workmanship of a system supplied by us. Manufacturer warranties may also apply to individual components. The warranty is additional to your statutory consumer rights. See the warranty section in our Terms & Conditions for full details.

What does return-to-base warranty mean?

If a fault appears to be covered, contact us first with your order details and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and provide return instructions and explain the next steps before you send the PC to us.

Who pays for return postage for a warranty repair?

The arrangements depend on the circumstances of the claim and applicable legal requirements. Contact us before returning a system; we will explain how transport costs will be handled for your case.

Can I return a PC if I change my mind?

Cancellation and return rights depend on the type of purchase and the circumstances. Many online consumer purchases have a 14-day cancellation period, but some goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt where the legal requirements are met. A PC being built to order does not automatically remove cancellation rights. Read our Delivery & Refunds policy and contact us before returning anything.

What if my PC develops a fault?

Contact info@dragongamingsystems.co.uk with your order number and a clear description of the fault. Photos or a short video may help. Do not open a warranty return or send the system back until we have discussed the issue and provided instructions. Your statutory rights are not limited by our warranty.

Can I upgrade my PC later?

Many systems can be upgraded, but compatibility depends on the motherboard, power supply, case dimensions, cooling and existing components. Contact us with your current system specification and the upgrade you are considering so we can advise on compatibility.

Contact and custom enquiries

What should I include in a custom PC enquiry?

Tell us what you want to use the PC for, your budget, any software or games you need to run, preferred components, colour or style, storage needs, monitor resolution and any other requirements. The more detail you provide, the more accurately we can quote.

How do I contact Dragon Gaming Systems?

Email info@dragongamingsystems.co.uk or use the Contact Us page on our website. For an existing order, include your order number so we can help more efficiently.

How soon will you reply to a custom enquiry?

We aim to respond within the timeframe stated on the Request a Custom PC page. Please check that page for the current response estimate.
